A bill for an act
relating to highways; designating the Corporal Johnathan Benson Memorial
Highway in the city of North Branch; amending Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 161.14, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 161.14, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

new text begin Marked Interstate
Highway 35 within the city of North Branch is designated as "Corporal Johnathan Benson
Memorial Highway." Subject to section 161.139, the commissioner shall adopt a suitable
marking design to memorialize the highway and shall erect the appropriate signs.
