A bill for an act
relating to government data practices; authorizing access to certain firearm data
by parole and probation authorities; amending Minnesota Statutes 2008, section
13.87, by adding a subdivision.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1.
Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 13.87, is amended by adding a subdivision
to read:

Parole and county
probation authorities may access data identified in subdivision 2 on an applicant or permit
holder who is also a defendant, parolee, or probationer of a district court.
