A bill for an act
relating to transportation; directing commissioner of transportation to add
bikeway to Lafayette Bridge when rebuilt.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin When the bridge across the Mississippi River, which is part of marked Trunk
Highway 52 and commonly known as the Lafayette Bridge, is next reconstructed, the
commissioner of transportation shall construct or otherwise provide for a bikeway, as
defined in Minnesota Statutes, section 169.011, subdivision 9, along, on, or underneath
the bridge.
