BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

The sums indicated in this section are
appropriated from the general fund to the Department of Education for the fiscal years
designated.

a grant to the Science Museum of Minnesota for the statewide science, technology,
engineering, and math initiative:

Of this amount, $750,000 each year is available for the teacher resource center
and other related programs and $750,000 each year is available for the expansion and
support of the middle school math and science initiative including teacher workshops and
expanded outreach programs in classrooms.
