Designating English as the official language of the state and as the language
for use by state and local governments, exceptions; providing a protection for private use of languages other than English, a standing to sue state agencies or state officials, severability and federal preemption; prohibiting drivers license issuance to persons unable to read English language or symbols; requiring drivers license examinations to be administered in English and requiring applicant completion without interpreter assistance; specifying instructions to the revisor of statutes
