relating to transportation; historical preservation; prohibiting removal of Rock
Island Swing Bridge for two years.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin DEMOLITION OF ROCK ISLAND SWING BRIDGE PROHIBITED
FOR TWO YEARS.

The Department of Transportation and Dakota County are prohibited from
demolishing or otherwise removing all or any portion of JAR 5600, commonly known as
the Rock Island Swing Bridge, or causing its demolition or removal.

and expires two years following its effective date.
