A bill for an act
relating to human services; providing a rate increase for a day training and
habilitation provider in St. Louis County; appropriating money.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin PROVIDER RATE INCREASE.

new text begin (a) Effective July 1, 2009, a day training and habilitation provider in St. Louis
County providing services for up to 150 individuals shall have a reimbursement rate
that equals the statewide median per diem.

new text begin (b) The commissioner of human services shall adjust the home and community-based
waiver allocation for St. Louis County and other affected counties as necessary to
implement this increase.

Sec. 2. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

for the biennium beginning July 1, 2009, for the purposes of section 1.
