A bill for an act
relating to education finance; defining similar departments for purposes of the
pupil transportation equal treatment statute; amending Minnesota Statutes 2008,
section 123B.85, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 123B.85, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

Minnesota Rules, part 3520.1500, "department" and "appropriate department" include a
series of courses, customized styles of learning, or religious denominational or synodical
differences.
