1.1A bill for an act 1.2relating to game and fish; providing support for the Lessard Outdoor Heritage 1.3Council; appropriating money. 1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1.5    Section 1. new text begin LESSARD OUTDOOR HERITAGE COUNCIL.new text end 1.6    new text begin Subdivision 1.new text end new text begin Expenses.new text end new text begin Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 86B.706, new text end 1.7new text begin subdivision 3, up to $150,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 2009 from the water recreation new text end 1.8new text begin account in the natural resources fund to the Legislative Coordinating Commission for new text end 1.9new text begin the following expenses of the Lessard Outdoor Heritage Council: the administrative new text end 1.10new text begin expenses of the Department of Natural Resources incurred after November 15, 2008; new text end 1.11new text begin office expenses; and per diem, mileage, and lodging expenses of council members new text end 1.12new text begin pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, section 97A.056, subdivision 2. If another fund has paid new text end 1.13new text begin the expenses under this subdivision, this appropriation may be used to reimburse that new text end 1.14new text begin fund. The expenses of the council reimbursed under this section must be made available new text end 1.15new text begin in detail on the council's Web site. This appropriation is available until July 1, 2009.new text end 1.16    new text begin Subd. 2.new text end new text begin Transfer.new text end new text begin By October 1, 2009, the commissioner of finance shall transfer new text end 1.17new text begin an amount equal to the amount spent in fiscal year 2009 under the appropriation in new text end 1.18new text begin subdivision 1 from the outdoor heritage fund to the water recreation account in the natural new text end 1.19new text begin resources fund. The amount necessary to make the transfer is appropriated from the new text end 1.20new text begin outdoor heritage fund. The transfer of funds must be completed before any other funds are new text end 1.21new text begin expended from the outdoor heritage fund.
