relating to education finance; authorizing Independent School District No. 333,
Ogilvie, to conduct an operating referendum more than once per year.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin OPERATING REFERENDUM ELECTION; OGILVIE.

new text begin Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 126C.17, subdivisions 9 and 11,
Independent School District No. 333, Ogilvie, may conduct more than one operating
referendum election per year and may hold the election on any day authorized by the
commissioner of education.

new text begin This section is effective the day following final enactment
and expires on July 1 of the first fiscal year after the district's unreserved general fund
balance exceeds zero.
