HF 802 THIRD ENGROSSMENT

Article 1 General Assistance Medical Care

Section 1. Mental health urgent care and psychiatric consultation services included in re-design of behavioral health hospitals and Anoka-Metro Regional Treatment Center, and terms defined.

Section 2. Payments date changed.

Section 3. Quarterly payment adjustment provisions modified.

Section 4. Prior authorization of drugs exemption provided.

Section 5. Antipsychotic and attention deficit disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder medications regulations provided for pediatric patients.

Section 6. Refusal of care to general assistance medical care patients prohibited by hospitals or providers in a coordinated care delivery system.

Section 7. Scope date of medical assistance extended.

Section 8. Hennepin County and Ramsey County intergovernmental transfers provisions modified, and medical assistance capitation payments provisions modified.

Section 9. Federal approval required to expand definition of eligible nonstate government hospitals in intergovernmental transfers program, and inpatient hospital payments provisions modified.

Subd 4. Basic health care grants funding provided for MinnesotaCare, Medical
Assistance basic health care, and General Assistance Medical Care.
Subd 5. Health care management funding provided and health care administration base
reduced.
Subd 6. Continuing care grants funding provided.
