certain protected titles and restrictions on use; prohibiting unlicensed

ARTICLE 10 - DENTAL THERAPISTS

Creating licensure and practice limitations for dental therapists and advanced dental therapists practicing in settings serving low-income and underserved patients or in a dental health professional shortage area; modifying certain provisions providing for the licensure of dental occupations; prescribing certain licensure, registration and renewal certification fees; establishing certain practice requirements for licensed dental therapist; requiring a written collaborative management agreement with a licensed dentist; defining certain terms; requiring the board of dentistry to evaluate the impact of the use of dental therapists on the
delivery of and access to dental services and to develop an evaluation process, requiring report to the legislature by a certain date; repealing the oral health practitioner provision
