A bill for an act
 relating to human services; appropriating money for the Bridges rental housing
assistance program.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $3,400,000 is appropriated for the biennium beginning July 1, 2009, from the
general fund to the Housing Finance Agency for the Bridges rental housing assistance
program under Minnesota Statutes, section 462A.2097. This appropriation is in addition
to any base appropriations for this purpose and shall become part of the agency's base.
