A bill for an act
 relating to health; appropriating money to the commissioner of health for heart
disease and stroke prevention.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin HEART DISEASE AND STROKE PREVENTION.

new text begin $500,000 is appropriated for the biennium ending June 30, 2011, from the general
fund to the commissioner of health for the heart disease and stroke prevention unit
of the Department of Health to fund data collection and other activities to improve
cardiovascular health and reduce the burden of heart disease and stroke in Minnesota.
This amount shall be added to the base.
