1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 18.78, is amended by adding a subdivision
1.7to read:
1.8 Subd. 4. Control of buckthorn. Notwithstanding any other provision in this chapter
1.9for the control or eradication of noxious weeds, a municipality may adopt an ordinance to
1.10control buckthorn on all public and private property within its geographic boundaries.
