1.1A bill for an act 1.2relating to game and fish; providing support for the Lessard Outdoor Heritage 1.3Council; appropriating money. 1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1.5    Section 1. new text begin LESSARD OUTDOOR HERITAGE COUNCIL. new text end 1.6 new text begin Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 86B.706, subdivision 3, up to $150,000 new text end 1.7 new text begin is appropriated in fiscal year 2009 from the water recreation account in the natural new text end 1.8 new text begin resources fund to the Legislative Coordinating Commission for the following expenses of new text end 1.9 new text begin the Lessard Outdoor Heritage Council: the administrative expenses of the Department new text end 1.10 new text begin of Natural Resources incurred after November 15, 2008; office expenses; and per diem, new text end 1.11 new text begin mileage, and lodging expenses of council members pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, section new text end 1.12 new text begin 97A.056, subdivision 2. The expenses of the council reimbursed under this section must new text end 1.13 new text begin be made available in detail on the council's Web site. This appropriation is available until new text end 1.14 new text begin July 1, 2009. By October 1, 2009, the commissioner of finance shall transfer $150,000 new text end 1.15 new text begin from the outdoor heritage fund to the water recreation account in the natural resources new text end 1.16 new text begin fund. The amount necessary to make the transfer is appropriated from the outdoor heritage new text end 1.17 new text begin fund. The transfer of funds must be completed before any other funds are expended from new text end 1.18 new text begin the outdoor heritage fund.
