1.1A bill for an act 1.2relating to state government; allowing creation of a clearinghouse for 1.3procurement and shared services examples;amending Minnesota Statutes 2008, 1.4section 6.74. 1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1.6    Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 6.74, is amended to read: 1.76.74 INFORMATION COLLECTED FROM LOCAL GOVERNMENTS. 1.8    new text begin Subdivision 1.new text end new text begin Information generally.new text end The state auditor, or a designated agent, shall 1.9collect annually from all city, county, and other local units of government, information as 1.10to the assessment of property, collection of taxes, receipts from licenses and other sources, 1.11the expenditure of public funds for all purposes, borrowing, debts, principal and interest 1.12payments on debts, and such other information as may be needful. The data shall be 1.13supplied upon forms prescribed by the state auditor, and all public officials so called upon 1.14shall fill out properly and return promptly all forms so transmitted.
