A bill for an act
 relating to transportation; allowing placement of signs within certain roundabouts
on marked Trunk Highway 61.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin TRUNK HIGHWAY 61 ROUNDABOUT SIGNS.

new text begin Notwithstanding any other law, rule, or policy to the contrary, the commissioner
of transportation shall allow the city of Cottage Grove to install municipal entrance
identification signage consisting of the lettering "Cottage Grove," to be located on existing
retaining walls within roundabouts at the interchange of marked Trunk Highway 61 and
Jamaica Avenue in the city of Cottage Grove.
