training initiatives.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin $200,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 2008 from the general fund to the
commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to HIRED to operate
its industry sector training initiatives, which provide employee training developed in
collaboration with employers in specific, high-demand industries. This amount is added to
the agency's budget base.
