A bill for an act
relating to natural resources; appropriating money for the construction of flood
protection farmstead ring levees in the Red River Valley.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

$245,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 2009 from the general fund to the
commissioner of natural resources for grants to assist the Red River Watershed
Management Board and watershed districts in the construction of flood protection
farmstead ring levees in the Red River Valley. The state share of the cost shall not exceed
50 percent.
