A bill for an act
 relating to transportation; requiring installation of specific service signs on
marked Trunk Highway 61.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin SPECIFIC SERVICE SIGNS.

new text begin Notwithstanding any other law, rule, or administrative order, the commissioner of
transportation shall erect specific service signs on the northbound and southbound sides of
marked Trunk Highway 61 before its intersection with Maxwell Avenue/Bailey Road and
before its intersection with Glen Road in Washington County. The signs must identify,
and display directions to, the Newport business district.
