BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION FOR FOODSHELF PROGRAMS.

new text begin $1,150,200 in fiscal year 2009 is appropriated from the general fund to the
commissioner of human services for foodshelf programs under Minnesota Statutes, section
256E.34. This appropriation is in addition to the base appropriation for fiscal year 2009
and becomes part of the base appropriation for fiscal years 2010 and 2011.
