FIRST ENGROSSMENT

Child Care Advisory Task Force established, and report required.

Section 1: Child Care Advisory Task Force

Subdivision 1. Establishment language is provided. The commissioner of human services shall establish an advisory task force of stakeholders to review and make recommendations to the legislature to remove barriers facing families applying for and receiving childcare assistance
Subdivision 2. Membership language is provided. Task Force members shall include but are not limited to, representatives from: the Department of Human Services, counties and nonprofit organizations administering the child care assistance programs, the child care advocacy community, and the antipoverty advocacy community.
Subdivision 3. Duties of the Task Force are provided.
Subdivision 4. Report requirements are provided.
Subdivision 5. Task Force expense guidelines are provided.
Subdivision 6. Expiration of the Child Care Advisory Task Force expires June 30, 2009.

Section 2: Effective date is provided.
