Biomass definition extended with respect to renewable energy objectives, distributed energy resources and renewable energy resource planning.

Section 1: Definitions are provided: "eligible energy technology", "electric utility", and "total retail electric sales".

Section 2: Definitions are provided: "eligible renewable energy sources" and "biomass".

Section 3: Definitions are provided: "utility", "renewable energy", "resource plan", and "refurbish".

Section 4: Effective date - Sections 1 to 3 are effective the day following final enactment.
