SF 903 Senate Long Description
Modifying and expanding mental health services funding provisions for medical assistance (MA) coverage, general assistance medical care (GAMC) and MinnesotaCare; increasing rates for children's therapeutic services and support services; defining family psychoeducation; modifying diagnostic assessment reimbursement rates; including rehabilitative mental health services in family psychoeducation, coordination and care management and collateral contacts; modifying payments for mental health services, mental health provider travel time and mental health telemedicine; adding intensive mental health outpatient treatment, care management, collateral contracts and mental health services dual eligible clients as covered services; modifying provisions relating to children's therapeutic services and supports; including providers of individual and group skills training, individual and group psychotherapy, diagnostic assessments and other services; providing for a dual diagnosis demonstration project for high risk adults; requiring the commissioner to make a onetime consultation with stakeholder groups and make budget neutral MA coverage changes to implement evidence based practices; requiring the commissioner of human services to increase certain reimbursement rates; requiring the commissioner of administration in consultation with the commissioner of human services to provide televideo conferencing; appropriating money to the commissioner of human services for community mental health programs, dual diagnosis demonstration project and telehealth
