A bill for an act
relating to veterans; allowing a classified government service preference for the
parent of a disabled veteran; amending Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 43A.11,
by adding a subdivision.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1.
Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 43A.11, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

A preference available under this section may be
used by the parent of a disabled veteran who because of the disability is unable to qualify.
