A bill for an act
relating to natural resources; appropriating money for additional conservation
officer position.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

$100,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of natural
resources for a conservation officer position to be stationed at Mississippi Headwaters
State Forest to work with local jurisdictions, including Native American reservations, in
enforcing state law along the Mississippi River from Lake Itasca downstream to Lake
Bemidji and in the Bemidji region.
