relating to state government finance; appropriating money for the Minnesota
Amateur Sports Commission.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; AMATEUR SPORTS COMMISSION.

(a) $734,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the Minnesota Amateur Sports
Commission for the biennium beginning July 1, 2007. Of this amount, $134,000 is to be
used for an additional event development position.

(b) Any lease revenues received under Laws 2005, chapter 20, article 1, section 40,
as amended, shall be used to offset the appropriation in paragraph (a).
