A bill for an act
proposing an amendment to the Minnesota Constitution, by adding a section to
article XIII; establishing there is no constitutional right to abortion.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

An amendment to the Minnesota Constitution is proposed to the people. If the
amendment is adopted, a section will be added to article XIII, to read:

Nothing in this constitution may be construed to create a right to abortion.

The proposed amendment must be submitted to the people at the 2008 general
election. The question submitted shall be:

"Shall the Minnesota Constitution be amended to provide that there is no
constitutional right to abortion?
