A bill for an act
relating to lobbying; prohibiting lobbying by certain former public officials for
a period of one year; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes,
chapter 10A.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1.

[10A.072] ONE YEAR PROHIBITION FOR CERTAIN PUBLIC
OFFICIALS.

State legislators, constitutional officers, and appointed state agency commissioners
shall not register as lobbyists within a period of one year from the termination of their
service in any of those offices.
