A bill for an act
relating to capital investment; appropriating money for improvements to Lake
Superior Mississippi Railroad scenic railway.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION FOR LAKE SUPERIOR MISSISSIPPI
RAILROAD SCENIC RAILWAY.

$450,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of transportation
to be disbursed as a grant to the Duluth Economic Authority for purchasing and installing
railroad ties to improve Lake Superior Mississippi Railroad scenic railway along St.
Louis Bay in the city of Duluth.
