2E Modifying provisions under the lead poisoning prevention act, requiring the commissioner of health to include information on the dangers and hazards of jewelry containing lead in lead education materials; requiring the commissioner of health to develop a lead abatement grant program; providing medical assistance (MA) coverage for certain lead risk assessments; prohibiting the sale of certain items containing lead; requiring the commissioner of health in consultation with the commissioner of employment and economic development (DEED), the housing finance agency (HFA) and the commissioner of human services to develop and evaluate the best strategies to reduce the number of children endangered by lead paint, requiring a report to the legislature by a certain date; revisor instructions; repealing the lead abatement program
