1E Facilitating same day voter registration by college students; changing the option for post-secondary educational institutions to prepare residential housing lists to be sent to county auditors for use in election day registration to a requirement, specifying certain name and address listing requirements and providing for privacy of the information; updating certain election day registration proof of residence requirements and authorizing the registration of students presenting a copy of a current student registration card or a current student monthly rental statement containing a valid residential address in the precinct; expanding the opportunity for same day registration by tribal band members and eliminating the requirement for county auditors to maintain certain related election day registration records
