A bill for an act
relating to highways; designating Interstate Highways
I-494 and I-694 as Ronald Reagan Beltway; amending
Minnesota Statutes 2004, section 161.14, by adding a
subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2004, section 161.14, is
amended by adding a subdivision to read:

new text begin (a) Route No. 393, as
described in section 161.12, subdivision 5, and signed as
Interstate Highways I-494 and I-694 on the effective date of
this section, is designated the "Ronald Reagan Beltway."

new text begin (b) The commissioner shall adopt a suitable marking design
to mark this legislative route and erect appropriate signs,
subject to section 161.139.
