BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin SEVERANCE LEVY; LAC QUI PARLE VALLEY.

new text begin Independent School District No. 2853, Lac qui Parle Valley,
may levy an amount up to $150,000 each year for a period of ten
years for severance and early retirement benefits for licensed
employees who retired as a result of the district's
consolidation that was effective July 1996.
