Relating to crime and public safety, modifying certain provisions regulating the release of predatory sex offenders; requiring the commissioner of corrections to establish end of confinement review committees to assess the risk levels of certain offenders coming to the state from another state; clarifying the requirement for assessment of offenders released from federal facilities in or outside the state intending to reside in the state, specifying certain duties of the committees; providing for local law enforcement agency requests for establishment of a committee to the bureau of criminal apprehension and the commissioner under certain conditions; authorizing community notification pursuant to risk levels assigned in other states; requiring the BCA to forward registration and notification information on certain out of state offenders to the commissioner for determination of supervised release status
