1E Relating to elections; modifying certain campaign finance and public disclosure provisions; expanding the definition of associated business and defining immediate family; authorizing electronic filing of required reports or statements; requiring the state campaign finance and public disclosure board to send additional notices to public officials representing clients for a fee and failing to disclose the participation within a certain number of days after the first notice of subjection to a civil penalty and subjecting officials failing to respond after a second notice to the penalty; expanding the prohibition on certain contributions to candidates to lobbyists and political party units; authorizing use of a certain amount of the annual appropriation for the income tax checkoff program for assessments by the office of administrative hearings for nonfrivolous complaints; repealing certain obsolete rules
