ARTICLE 1 - CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT

Proposing an amendment to the Minnesota constitution, article XI to increase the sales and use tax and to dedicate the receipts to hunter and angler access or to improvement, enhancement or protection of game and fish habitat and to assess, protect and restore lakes, rivers, streams wetlands and groundwater (ground water); creating the game and fish heritage and clean water funds for the deposit of receipts to be used as a supplement to traditional sources of funding for the stated purposes; requiring easements acquired with money deposited in the game and fish heritage fund to be open to public fishing and hunting during the open season
