Requiring the commissioner of transportation (DOT) to convene a commodities transport corridor pilot project work group to develop recommendations for a pilot project to promote safe, economical and efficient transport of goods by motor carriers in the corridor, requiring work group membership to include representatives of the department of natural resources (DNR), Itasca and St. Louis counties and the motor carrier, forest products and mining industries; requiring commissioner of transportation implementation of the pilot project by a certain date along trunk highways #2 between Grand Rapids and Duluth and #169 between Grand Rapids and county state aid highway #7; requiring a work group report to the legislature by a certain date, specifying certain report content requirements
