1E Providing for enhanced roadside wildlife habitat; requiring the commissioner of natural resources (DNR) to assess a certain fee for permits to field train dogs to be deposited in the game and fish fund for use by the commissioner for implementation and coordination of the roadsides for wildlife program; encouraging road authorities to use low maintenance native vegetation reducing the need to mow, providing wildlife habitat and maintaining public safety; requiring the commissioner to cooperate with the commissioner of transportation (DOT) to provide enhanced roadside habitat for nesting birds and other small wildlife
