A bill for an act
relating to higher education; appropriating money to
the University of Minnesota for turf grass research.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin TURF GRASS RESEARCH; APPROPRIATION.

$75,000 in each year of the fiscal biennium ending June 30,
2007, is appropriated from the general fund to the Board of
Regents of the University of Minnesota for research and
development of improved turf grasses to be produced in
Minnesota. The agronomy department shall continue its
collaboration with turf seed-producing and seed-marketing
companies in the state.
