relating to telecommunications; requiring clear
statement of expiration dates on phone cards and their
outer packaging; proposing coding for new law in
Minnesota Statutes, chapter 237.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1.

[237.037] PHONE CARD EXPIRATION LABELING.

Each phone card sold in this state and any packaging
containing the phone card when the phone card is offered for
sale must clearly state the phone card's expiration date.
