A bill for an act
relating to veterans affairs; authorizing the carry
forward of the unexpended appropriation for the
veterans service office grant program; amending
Minnesota Statutes 2004, section 197.608, by adding a
subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2004, section 197.608, is
amended by adding a subdivision to read:

section 16A.28, of the appropriation to the commissioner of
veterans affairs for the veterans service office grant program
in any biennium, any unexpended amount from the second year of
the biennium is carried forward to the first year of the
following biennium and is available until expended.
