  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to veterans affairs; appropriating money for 
  1.3             a grant to plan a veterans memorial on the banks of 
  1.4             the Mississippi River. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $....... is appropriated to the commissioner of veterans 
  1.8   affairs for fiscal year 2005 for a grant to the Minneapolis Park 
  1.9   Board to plan a veterans memorial to be situated on the banks of 
  1.10  the Mississippi River in Minneapolis.  The board must report on 
  1.11  its plan to the senate and house committees with jurisdiction 
  1.12  over veterans affairs by February 1, 2005.
