  1.1                          A bill for an act

  1.3             determination of unrefunded gasoline tax attributable 
  1.4             to motor boats; requiring a report.  
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [DETERMINATION OF TAX ALLOCATION; REPORT TO 
  1.7   LEGISLATURE.] 
  1.8      The commissioners of natural resources, revenue, and 
  1.9   transportation must jointly determine the amount of unrefunded 
  1.10  gasoline tax attributable to motorboat use in the state and 
  1.11  shall report to the legislature by March 1, 2005, with an 
  1.12  appropriate proposed revision to Minnesota Statutes, section 
  1.13  296A.18.
