  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to school safety; requiring rules for the 
  1.3             Department of Public Safety governing colors of Sam 
  1.4             Browne belts to allow certain colors. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [SCHOOL SAFETY RULES; AUTHORIZED COLORS.] 
  1.7      The commissioner of public safety shall amend Minnesota 
  1.8   Rules, part 7415.0400, subpart 1, so that a Sam Browne belt, 
  1.9   vest, sash, or poncho worn by school safety patrol members may 
  1.10  be fluorescent yellow-green, blaze orange, or white.
