  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; CHILDREN'S DISCOVERY MUSEUM.] 
  1.6      $300,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.7   commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant 
  1.8   to the city of Grand Rapids and Itasca County for the predesign, 
  1.9   design, construction, furnishing, and equipping of a new 
  1.10  Children's Discovery Museum in Grand Rapids.
