  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [PROHIBITION ON ADOPTION OF RULES FOR VALUATION 
  1.8   OF ELECTRIC UTILITY PROPERTY.] 
  1.9      Before July 1, 2005, the Department of Revenue shall not 
  1.10  amend existing rules or adopt new rules that prescribe the 
  1.11  method of valuing property of electric utilities.
