  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to transportation; appropriating money for a 
  1.3             grant to the city of St. Cloud for land acquisition 
  1.4             for an improved noise buffer zone around the St. Cloud 
  1.5             Regional Airport. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; ST. CLOUD AIRPORT.] 
  1.8      $2,800,000 is appropriated from the state airports fund to 
  1.9   the commissioner of transportation for a grant to the city of 
  1.10  St. Cloud to acquire land for the purpose of improving the noise 
  1.11  buffer zone around the St. Cloud Regional Airport. 
  1.12     [EFFECTIVE DATE.] This section is effective July 1, 2004.
