Revisor's bill; correcting miscellaneous oversights, inconsistencies, ambiguities, unintended results and technical errors in certain +legislative enactments relating to correction of private cemetery interment +errors; changing certain cemetery operator notice and witness requirements +from the nearest known next of kin to person or persons legally entitled to +control the body or remains and clarifying the requirement for the cemeteries to +comply with certain requirements for the disposition of dead bodies for +interment errors correction purposes; clarifying a certain provision +authorizing the petroleum tank release compensation board to deny corrective action +services consultants or contractors registrations or requests for registration+ renewal for conviction of certain crimes; clarifying the composition of the agricultural utilization research institute board of directors; +clarifying the required use and extending the availability of a certain prior +appropriation to the board on judicial standards to fund the costs of a public hearing+ for a judge; eliminating the requirement for public defender copayments +paid by defendants to be deposited in the state general fund; making certain +technical corrections relating to the imposition of certain fees by gambling +control board; making temporary the fee requirement for lobbyist principal +reports; extending the life of the Mississippi River parkway commission; +correcting the school district general education revenue and aid formulas and +modifying the referendum allowance limit; modifying the online learning providers +payment formula; requiring reduction of the alternative facilities levy +formula for aid received; modifying the limit on the garage lease levy in independent+ school district #740, Sartell; modifying and limiting the school district +levy recognition formula and eliminating a certain shift; clarifying the +operating capital levy formula; making optional a certain school district staff development revenue reservation requirement; reducing a certain prior appropriation to the commissioner of education for adult graduation +aid and providing an appropriation for adult basic education aid; sunsetting+ the Minnesota education telecommunications council; requiring an +agreement with the commissioner of natural resources (DNR) for conservation corps +receipt of a certain appropriation; providing an effective date for a certain +provision authorizing employees of certain contractors to serve as township +supervisors and a retroactive effective date for a certain provision providing +for school district use of referendum tax base replacement aid and eliminating +the highest and lowest equalization level assumption; making a reference +correction in a certain provision relating to the costs of transcripts for district +public defender services funding purposes; eliminating mental health +professionals and physical, occupational and speech therapists from certain general +assistance medical care (GAMC) copayment requirements; excluding cigarette +manufacturers entering into the master settlement agreement with other states from +the definition of person for interstate commerce cigarette stamp +requirement purposes (Ch. 23, Special Session 2003)
